YOU ARE IMPORTANT

Can you believe it's already OCTOBER!!!!

This year has flown by - but I am glad thinking back on all that has been done this year already...and we still have three months left!

We had a great time finishing off Kindergarten and 7th grade school years - we had many Summer adventures with the girls.  Took weekend trips to Austin, San Antonio, Fredericksburg, Roundtop, San Marcos, Lukenbauch, and Dallas.  We took the girls on a great vacations to Destin for several days and to Orlando to finally visit Animal Kingdom, and they got to experience the magic of the Magic Kingdom with their grandparents!

Once school started we fell in love with all new teachers, friends and are finally getting our home routine down packed.  The girls have embraced taekwondo wonderfully and we have two tournaments under our belts with another one right around the corner (Oct 12th). 

Even better than the traveling and fun we have even bigger and better blessings!!  We are all healthy.  We have had minor coughs, and colds, a few bouts of back pains, or growing pains - but we are all relatively healthy and happy!  That alone is a major MAJOR blessing. 

We each have a reason to smile each morning, a steady roof over our heads, a family who loves us and cheers us on through everything we do.  Danny and I have steady jobs that we sometimes take for granted, but are truly blessed to have. 

We have so much clothes and shoes (that its hard to do all the laundry - cause we are out of storage space) - thats a good problem to have!  All of our needs are met, and most of our wants fulfilled. 

We have freedom, we have rights, we have the grace of God...what more is there?!?!?!?

If you woke up this morning wondering - Why bother?  This sucks? I hate my life! - THEN STOP!!!
You are freakin awesome!  You have family that loves you (include me - even if we aren't blood family - you can be a part of my chosen family!!).  You are wonderfully and beautifully made by a God who has great plans for you! If your tired and weary from fighting a battle that you just can't take any more - IT'S OKAY TO STOP!!!  God is right behind you waiting to take it over!! He can handle it way better anyway - so just let it go!  Be STILL and know that he is God!
