Tuesday, I did HIT, Makaila went to the baseball game, Danny made chili for dinner, and I discussed birthday plans for my dad with my sisters...
Wednesday, I had several not so happy calls to the collision center, and the insurance about my car! I took Izzy to dance after work, and she got her costume in..she looks so cute!
There was more rain storms that came through and this is a look at whats happening in neighborhoods around us:
Friday was scrap booking night, so Margaret and Teresea came over and after we were done with our pages, we went to dinner at Christopher's and Amy came along too!
Danny had to work late, so Teresea took me to pick up my car, and his truck from the collision center and the dealer! We stopped off and had some ice cream together too! It was nice getting to hang out and catch up with her a bit!
She headed home, and then we dropped off Ernie's truck that Danny borrowed the day before! Saturday morning I woke up early and went for a walk! Came home, did some laundry and some house cleaning, then showered and got ready. We left at 1:30 stopped at Costco for some cake, and then Woody's for a pie. We got to my parents and they were all gone shooing in Canton, so we decided to drive into Waxahachie for a bit and enjoy some ice cream!
At about 6, they all got back so we headed home to mom and dad's. We started a discada, and just spent our evening hanging out with my daddy and sisters. My cousin Flaco came over for awhile too. It was nice to just hang out and celebrate my daddy turning 65!
We spent some time cooking, talking, eating and playing loteria. All my sisters and my parents were together and it was nice. My family is not as close knit as the Limons, so it's not very often that we are all together enjoying each other...I love it! It's a necessity from time to time!
Sunday morning we woke up, made breakfast and enjoyed breakfast tacos and menudo out on the back patio, Daddy opened his gifts and we sang him Happy Birthday!!
It was a great weekend surrounded by my family, and I loved it! We headed home at about noon, and then I took Makaila to Costco to get more candy for school, and we picked up my mother-in-laws Mother's Day gift for next week, dropped that ll off at home, then headed to the mall to see a movie. The girls had been bugging about watching the Jungle Book so we went. Although when we got to the mall, we had a reality check...the tickets were 14.25 each for regular seats or $19.50 for premium seats...EACH!!! Are you freakin kidding me...I have to pay $50 for me and my girls to see a movie....and that's just to see it...TAS PENDEJO!!!
We walked away and did some mall walking instead. We got a couple things at JC Penney and then headed home. We sat in traffic for awhile cause there was an accident on 1960. We ate dinner at El Charro and called it a night.
Oh - I forgot to mention - when we got home from Mom & Dad's there was this cute plant hanging on our screen door....isn't this the cutest thing ever! God Bless the person who left us this cute little gift!!
