May Movies break

May 27, 2016

This week was pretty awesome!  Monday night after work, I did HIT, and watched a few Blue Bloods episodes with Makaila.  On Tuesday we did HIT, and I was feeling pumped so I surprised Makaila by going to her Karate class and training with her!  She was super happy.  I was hurting!

Wednesday was pretty cool.  At work I went over to the Shippers Showcase and brought home goodies for everyone!  Took Izzy to dance and then relaxed a bit!

Thursday, Makaila had a meeting afterschool so I came home early to get Izzy.  I walked to her school to pick her up and it was freakin hot!!! I had to take a shower as soon as I got home!  At 5 Makaila and I met Rose and her friend at Whataburger for dinner then afterwards headed to the movies where we met with Ceci, Karena, Sarah and Ava to see Keanu!  It was the most ridiculous movie ever...but we had a good time!

I spent my Friday evening after work loading more items into my Poshmark closet!  The girls went to the park to swing "which means Makaila went to go talk to this boy she likes".  They think they are slick...but they aren't!
When Danny got home we drove out to Dot's Diner for dinner...Oh my goodness it was delicious!  We came home stuffed!

Saturday morning I woke up early and did some laundry!  I drove over to Ceci's to help finish up Ava's birthday party stuff, and then later on after he finished the yard work Danny came and picked me up.  We went to look at cars! The rest of our evening was spent at eh car dealership and we came home in a new car!  Surprised...me neither!

We got a new Outback with all the bells and whistles...its pretty ridiculous how many features cars have now a days.

Sunday, we went to church, then headed over to Torchy's for lunch! Afterwards we walked around the Airline Market, and then went to Restaurant Depot and then to Mi Tienda!

We came home, unloaded all the groceries int eh rain, relaxed and just watched tv!  I tried to talk to Danny about being lonely and needing his attention as I often do, but he did like he usually does and just let me speak into one ear as it flowed out of the other!  So with that I called it a night and went to bed!  I think I need to work on my relationship with God and learn to love myself and find my own happiness instead of trying to force Danny to love me the way I want to be loved and fill my needs....something to work on! I just wish I knew where to start...or how to make that happen cause its a lot easier said than done.

May Rewind

This week was good.  It was filled with work, karate, HIT, dinner making, after dinner clean ups, laundry, yard work, and teacher appreciation gifts!  The girls did dance, karate classes and some fighting and whining like every other week!  I think summer needs to hurry up already!  These ladies are tired!

I got Pablo fixed and back in one piece...although I have really taken a  liking to Danny's work car and have since declared that it is now my work car, and Betsy is my bitch!  I will be driving her to work from now on and Danny can take over Pablo!  It really makes since because he does a lot of driving while I just drive back and forth...so he should take the car with the better mileage ratio!
I was off on Friday and I spent my entire morning deep cleaning my restroom, and bedroom.  I mean deep cleaning..it took hours!  Beds were stripped, base boards washed, tiled bleached...the works!  I took Izzy lunch.  She always wants me to come have lunch with her on my days off...but I have some appointment booked and never make it.  But this Friday I did and she was loving it!

After our lunch I went to get a mani/pedi (which catching up on these posts - I just realize I get these quite often...I need to cut back on that!).  But in my defense I don't color my hair, or get expensive haircuts, or buy designer clothing or purses or shoes...so this i s my indulgence...keeping pretty hands and feet...and its more like good grooming not an indulgence....so who knows!  Anyway...I went home and finished cleaning house, then picked the girls up from school.  Aubrey came home with us and we headed to the mall to do some build-a-bears I found in the closet when cleaning!  They loved it!

We came back home and the girls played, and we all hung out.  we ran some errands at Wal-Mart and then called it a night.

Saturday morning, I woke up and did a few loads of laundry, then me and Izzy went for a walk through the neighborhood!  Came home, showered got ready and then Danny took us to the Outlets over in Texas City.  He wasn't impressed, abut I found a few good things at the Banana Republic Outlet and at J Crew.  I bought several pairs of shorts!  We stopped at the Texas City Bucee's which was fantastic...they has so much great stuff!

We wrapped up our shopping early and decided to drive into Galveston for a change of scenery!  We drove around taking in the city (we haven't been there in YEARS!!).  We ended up driving along the seawall and having lunch at The Spot...it was delicious!!

We drove through Kemah on our way back just to see a few different things.  The boys called about Prom so we stopped by to see them both before they headed out...they looked so handsome!  It's crazy how fast the time flies...I can't believe they are graduating high school already!!

We headed home and picked out some frames for gifts and some pictures from wal-mart and then called it a night early!

Sunday morning was Mother's Day!  I woke up and got ready without a single - Happy Mother's Day!  Issy was being whinny and no one was getting up so I took off to church alone.  they showed up and both girls wished me a Happy Mother's Day!  LOL...They need and few more ZZZ's apparently!
Afterwards we went out with the Ramirez's for Chinese.  I came home and opened my gifts!  Each of the girls picked a bracelet for me from the church trade store!  They also got me  coloring book, the movie War Room and the study book to go with it!  We headed to HEB for some groceries and then to Ernie and Sarah's for Mothers Day lunch!  We all hung out, talked laughed and ate!  We wrapped it all up at 9 and then headed home to get ready for the next week.

One of the greatest blessings in my life was becoming a mommy.  The joys, the laughter, the pride, the pain, the whinning, the attitude...I love it all.  I may not always show but I love you both more than words can ever say!  You are my reason for living and breathing each and every day.  I look forward to the day you both become moms and understand the love that a mother feels for their children.  Nothing can compare!! I love you!

April Honors & Grandpa Matt's 65th

Monday was great.  After work we got ready and went to the NHS Induction Ceremony.  Makaila looked beautiful, and we are so stinkin proud of her.  We saw her get her acceptance certificate, and her NHS pin, celebrated with cake and then dinner at Zio's afterwards!

Tuesday, I did HIT, Makaila went to the baseball game, Danny made chili for dinner, and I discussed birthday plans for my dad with my sisters...

Wednesday, I had several not so happy calls to the collision center, and the insurance about my car!  I took Izzy to dance after work, and she got her costume in..she looks so cute!

There was more rain storms that came through and this is a look at whats happening in neighborhoods around us:

Friday was scrap booking night, so Margaret and Teresea came over and after we were done with our pages, we went to dinner at Christopher's and Amy came along too!

Danny had to work late, so Teresea took me to pick up my car, and his truck from the collision center and the dealer!  We stopped off and had some ice cream together too!  It was nice getting to hang out and catch up with her a bit!

She headed home, and then we dropped off Ernie's truck that Danny borrowed the day before!  Saturday morning I woke up early and went for a walk!  Came home, did some laundry and some house cleaning, then showered and got ready.  We left at 1:30 stopped at Costco for some cake, and then Woody's for a pie.  We got to my parents and they were all gone shooing in Canton, so we decided to drive into Waxahachie for a bit and enjoy some ice cream!

At about 6, they all got back so we headed home to mom and dad's.  We started a discada, and just spent our evening hanging out with my daddy and sisters.  My cousin Flaco came over for awhile too.  It was nice to just hang out and celebrate my daddy turning 65!

We spent some time cooking, talking, eating and playing loteria.  All my sisters and my parents were together and it was nice.  My family is not as close knit as the Limons, so it's not very often that we are all together enjoying each other...I love it!  It's a necessity from time to time!

Sunday morning we woke up, made breakfast and enjoyed breakfast tacos and menudo out on the back patio,  Daddy opened his gifts and we sang him Happy Birthday!!

It was a great weekend surrounded by my family, and I loved it!  We headed home at about noon, and then I took Makaila to Costco to get more candy for school, and we picked up my mother-in-laws Mother's Day gift for next week, dropped that ll off at home, then headed to the mall to see a movie.  The girls had been bugging about watching the Jungle Book so we went.  Although when we got to the mall, we had a reality check...the tickets were 14.25 each for regular seats or $19.50 for premium seats...EACH!!!  Are you freakin kidding me...I have to pay $50 for me and my girls to see a movie....and that's just to see it...TAS PENDEJO!!!

We walked away and did some mall walking instead.  We got a couple things at JC Penney and then headed home.  We sat in traffic for awhile cause there was an accident on 1960.  We ate dinner at El Charro and called it a night.

Oh - I forgot to mention - when we got home from Mom & Dad's there was this cute plant hanging on our screen door....isn't this the cutest thing ever!  God Bless the person who left us this cute little gift!!
