WE DID IT!!!! We finally got to go to Disneyworld in December and see it all done up for Christmas! It was TRULY the Happiest place on earth!!!
Our road trip was filled with lots of reading, some trivia, followed by crap loads of laughter, some gas station stops, and tons of excitement to get to our destination!
Did you catch all of that....there isn't much to say really...the pictures speak for themselves...we had the time of our lives!! He hit up Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot (which was new for us----and I liked it!). The highs of this trip - well pretty much all of it...there isn't much that can top the joy of sitting in a theme park eating your third Dole whip, surrounded by people you love smiling from ear to ear! The low on this trip would have to be standing in the line to ride the Avatar ride for 4 HOURS!!! Seriously....4 freaking hours! And then once we finally got to the front of the line...Izzy passed out within 20 seconds of being on the ride....it was not worth it at all! The lack of food, the being tired, the fear of the motion was all just too much! Sadly I didn't even realize it had happened since I was on the other end of the room - until the ride was over! I tried to get Danny to ride again since he missed out but he was not having it...and the Avatar ride was a big fail! I don't care how amazing the ride was - nothing is worth standing in a hot line for 4 hours....NOTHING!!!
Either way - the trip to Disney at Christmas time was a great success. We will forever have these memories and I am so grateful for the life we have. We are all blessed, we are healthy, happy and together.....THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
