Danny's Birthday Weekend Rewind

December 14, 2015

Let's see....asside from the usual, which includes work, laundry, karate, dance, guitar lessons, youth night at the church, and more laundry...this is what our week consisted of:

Sam and Bella were on a roll with their elf antics:

Sadly, this year Danny had to work on his birthday.  The girls and I still decorated the house, made banners, and gave him cards but sadly....I forgot to take pictures!!  Just take my word for it.  I bought Danny a cooking disc, but it will be here in a couple weeks...so uneventful birthday but he is off on the weekend, so we plan on making it up!  My car was also acting up again (its the brake switch - and the stupid thing will not shift gears, and is having troubles starting....UHHHH!)

Friday I took the girls to school, and went to Ceci's to make some more progress on our crosses! It didn't work out as planned.  We eeach made one crodss, then took a break to go to Bath & Body Works again, and then when we got back Danny called to say he was having lunch with Juan and Jessica so we joined them! LOL We went back and finished one more cross, then I had to come pick up the girls from school.  We hung out and relaxed until about 7, then we drove over to the Wonderlights @ Sam Houston Raceway Park with Tony and Sam.  It was beautiful.  We spent a few hours there taking in all the lights and taking tons of pics...here are a few:

Everything was ginormous and intricate...I really liked it...although it was disheartening that Issy was whining the majority of the time! Afterwards we all had dinner at 59 Diner, and then called it a night.  We were all tired!

Saturday morning, I cleaned up a little, and then got ready, Tony and Sam came over, and we went shopping for stuff to make them some ugly sweaters for a Christmas Party they were going to! LOL  AFter a few stops at Goodwill, Dollar tree and Wal-mart...this is what they got:

They looked like a pair of fools...let's hope they win...cause those sweaters were ugly!!  Issy headed next door for SJ's birthday party, and later that night we headed over to my in-laws to play loteria! We ate tamales, and played until about 8, and then headed home.  Izzy was out an about at Emma's parade, and Makaila was on a roll winning, so Rose said she would bring the girls home later! Izzy ended up staying with Emma and Rose brought Makaila home at about 11.

Sunday we went to church, and then did a little Christmas gift shopping.  I had to get my bags packed and ready because I was flying out in the morning to Oklahoma.....wish me luck...it's a last minute trip to get some things done, so lets see how it goes! LOL
